07 Oct Cacao Kefir Pudding
Ill find any excuse to add milk kefir, this was one of the first combo’s I tried and I make very frequently as a treat or dessert after dinner.
Cacao… not cocoa. CACAO is the raw and most nutrient dense version you can purchase. Cocoa has been heat treated and can have additives and sweeteners added to it. Cacao is a superfood and contains magnesium, small traces of calcium, zinc, copper, potassium & manganese. Antioxidants polyphenols and flavanols which promote cardiovascular health by lowering LDL cholesterol, stimulates good circulation and strong arteries. It also relaxes the nervous system and helps to increase availability of serotonin which is the “feel good/ bliss” hormone. Oh and it tastes absolutely amazing… What’s not to love??
Cinnamon is such an amazing spice, not only is it loaded with benefits but it tastes heavenly with a slight sweet end note. It is loaded with manganese, calcium, magnesium, potassium. Has vitamins A & K and has trace elements of iron and phosphorus. It is a wonder spice that levels out blood sugar and aids digestion.
There is nothing guilty about this treat.
